I am a second degree Computer Science student at the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, BC Canada. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UBC.

 

I have always had an interest in computing, which stems from my learning HTML at the age of 12 in order to jazz up my Neopets userlookup. This lead to my love for my high school computing classes and interest in providing technological support to the various organizations I was a part of.

 

I am interested in combining my previously attained knowledge in the life sciences and work experience in Communications with the technological skills I am currently gaining. I am also very excited to explore all the various aspects of technology and see how they can support other components of our society.  

 

Aside from fiddling around with different technologies, I enjoy reading, blogging and container gardening in my spare time.
